PeeCee to dance with all-girl gang

The actress starts shooting a special song for Ram Leela today.

Priyanka Chopra's attempts at a hit dance number have not yielded any foot-tapping results till date. Babli and Pinky, her dancing diva alter-egos did not really set the screens on fire but the actress is hoping to get third time lucky with her headline grabbing collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

The grapevine has been abuzz about Priyanka's special dance number for SLB's magnum opus Ram Leela and now we can confirm that the shooting for the elaborately choreographed song will start today at Film City.

A lavish, colourful set has been erected over the past ten days for the song which will be choreographed by Vishnu Deva.

A source close to the development told us, "Bhansali was scouting for a choreographer and he had seen Vishnu's work in Oh My God where he had choreographed the Go Go Govinda number and he had also choreographed for Rowdy Rathore."

The song will be an all-girl event with a team of 20 dancers backing up Priyanka. Since the film is a Gujarati version of Romeo and Juliet, the choreography is expected to be heavy on traditional dances from the state.

Priyanka will sport an ethnic outfit created by Anju Modi, who has also fashioned the wardrobe of Deepika Padukone for the film.
